Passports are required by all visitors to Gibraltar except British passport holders and EU nationals who are in possession of a valid national identity card. For persons holding an ILR stamp in their non British passports (Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK) and those who hold UK certificate of entitlement to the right of abode and who have not been absent from the UK for more than 2 years may enter Gibraltar.
Nationals or citizens of Morocco, the People's Republic of China, Mongolia, India or Russia who are holders of multiple entry Schengen visas with a minimum remaining validity of 7 days on the date of departure from Gibraltar may enter Gibraltar for a maximum period of 21 days.
Nationals of Australia, Canada and USA do not need a visa for stays in Gibraltar of up to three months.
