The Gibraltar Registry Office is conveniently located on a quiet road just off Main Street. It's open for civil marriages from Monday to Friday (10am to 2pm) although the registrars do travel outside of the registry office from Monday to Saturday to conduct outside venue weddings including at later times up to 8pm.
The registry office is an elegant ceremony room decorated in neutral, cream hues with crystal chandeliers. It has its own quaint, little garden where you can opt for a photo shoot if it's available. A civil marriage, civil partnership and same sex marriage ceremony may take place in the registry office as well as at any venue outside of the registry office. The administrative process is straightforward, as long as you have the correct paperwork and have complied with the statutory requirements as laid out by the Gibraltar Marriage Act 2015.
