The Lions Pond, funded and constructed by the Lions Club in 1986, is the perfect spot for your marriage ceremony or post ceremony drinks & canapes reception or wedding picnic in the park. Situated just a stone's throw from The Dell, your wedding party will just walk a few steps to the after wedding party and be wowed by the beautiful, picturesque setting with its trickling brook, tropical plants and flowers and watch out for that carved face in the tree! We can provide you with chairs, chair covers and bows, tables, drinks, canapes and waiter service. It's always thoughtful to have a few drinks out for your guests as it can get quite hot in the gardens. A nice touch is to surprise your guests with a personal serenade by our classical or flamenco guitarists. Nothing states destination wedding more than the Alameda Gardens!
